About Interblinds Made to Measure Blinds

After having gained considerable experience in the blind fabric industry, Interblinds was established in 1980 by a father and son team, aware of the massive potential of the blinds market in the UK.

For the first few years, the business was conducted from small workshops in Southport, but it was soon evident that larger premises were necessary. So in 1984, we moved to nearby Ainsdale, where we have remained and become an integral part of village life.

Interblinds feel that a happy balance between corporate and domestic customers has been achieved. We supply various blinds, awnings and insect screens to residential premises and have established a prominent presence in industrial markets. Building companies, hospitals, offices, shops, restaurants, hotels, schools, colleges and universities have all benefitted from Interblinds’ flair and experience.

These features have made us the obvious choice when a special product is required. For example, the National Trust chooses Interblinds for replacement blinds on many of their listed buildings. Only a specialist company is equipped with the knowledge and resources to complete this demanding task.

A FLOURISHING BUSINESS

As the business flourished, additional staff were recruited, most of whom have stayed with us, developing their skills with our on-going training programme. Interblinds is CHAS accredited.

We adhere closely to the British Blinds and Shutters Association (BBSA), code of practice. Indeed, as a past regional president, we have had a hand in formulating the code. Interblinds work hard to maintain the high standards the BBSA has tried to spread throughout the industry.

Although our domestic customer base is principally within the North West, we are more than happy to travel throughout the UK to supply and service our contract customers.
